Grief is Messy, ain't it?
There is a sadness that comes all over you when you lose your sibling. The person that you were supposed to spend the rest of your life with, the only connection to your parents, or the only person who understands your ways is now gone. You ask yourself hard questions like "how am going to get through this" or "how do I help my family who is hurting like hell right now?" I remember when I felt like a ton of bricks was on my chest daily yet somehow someway I kept pushing.
Even doing that had me question myself. From embracing sleepless nights to looking at my husband for answers because he knew my pain. God, where are you? We need you right, now! I felt alone and secluded because the reality is I went from being 2 to being the only child. That alone kept me in an ugly and angry place.
Soon after that, the domino effect happened. Losing my mom in law, losing my home to foreclosure, losing my business, losing myself because of grief, marriage became harder, loss of family due to the passing of my family, losing loved ones and they are still alive, and the loss of hope, normalcy, and confidence.
When you work with me, you will be working with a vessel that has been through pain like, feeling alone, and finding my way through all of the messiness of grief and still help others. I am here to help you with your new journey by developing a deeper relationship with yourself by reconnecting your inner voice and helping you see your purpose after your loss.
Is Andrea a good fit for you?
Helping siblings and entrepreneurs ignite the fire inside of them is my life work.
Andrea has stepped into this realm because of her losses. What she did not know is that when she started her inner healing process this would help others. Living beyond the bereavement is her life mission because we have been taught for so long to push our grief aside and suppress our feelings.
We have the right to feel joy. We have a right to express our pain the way we do. We also have a right to take a few moments every day for ourselves to foster our healing. One of the things that Andrea teaches is the value of your peacetime. From meditation to mindfulness, writing, singing, or music therapy. Andrea's new norm is unconventional because we are unique in our grief process.
In 2017 Andrea felt her calling stronger then before and God sent a vessel (her aunt Dot) to reassure her that From Grief to Grind is of God and God only. Andrea began to start hearing her spirit louder and start walking in her truth.
In 2010 Andrea met grief face to face when she lost her 39 year old sister to Melastonic Breast Cancer. As she is on her grieving journey she felt alone and she heard God tell her that she is to minister to women who have felt grief like no other. Here she is doing just that.
Our Mission is to provide sibling survivors and entrepreneurs with support, while they pay tribute to their loved ones as they navigate through their grief daily.
As of 2020 From Grief to Grind has collaborated with over 50 women, has 20 published authors, 2 anthologies, and creative vessels who are now sharing their stories worldwide.
I want you to know that you are not alone and this journey can feel weary and please allow yourself to feel how you feel unapologetically.
